Sara Kate Burnett

I am a Sophomore studying Documentary Journalism at the University of Missouri Journalism School from Memphis, Tennessee. I use my communication skills, passion for storytelling, and knowledge of videography to tell accurate, heartfelt, and communicative stories to the best of my ability. Known for engaging with others and my videography, I am always looking for new and interesting people and perspectives to represent. Using my ability to deeply understand others and my desire to represent others accurately, I create thoughtful stories, by providing a safe space for my subjects and a person they know they can trust. Through my desire to gain new experiences, I am able to make a positive and lasting impact, when I serve my subjects accurately and with an ethical approach.
